The are many connectors under the Power Platform and the ones we will use in this scenario are the Dynamics 365 CE actions and triggers, we will review how to create a Microsoft Flow that connects to Dynamics 365 CE and does Cascading Updates on the Account Address from Parent Account to the Child Accounts records
Let’s see how this is done.
These are the steps and actions need it to accomplish this scenario:
– Action 1
The initial trigger occurs when an Account Record is updated then Microsoft Flow will begin running
– Action 2
Let’s get the original Account Record for ease of use later on when updating the Child account records
– Action 3
Let’s get the Child Account Records, using the List Records that is an oData Request
Check the Filter Query…
The result list then will be sorted by Name Ascending
– Action 4
Apply to each record, from the result list
– Action 5
Update all the Child Account Records and terminate
